Below are some pics of a few art cards and paintings that I've made. I always have a lot of sketches going at any one time. Fun and whimsy, nothing too serious mind you. Great fun for kids too! I have been using a mix of watercolor, pencil, art markers and acrylics on my cards. I'm still experimenting and have lots of ideas. There's some really cool collage pieces that would be fun to do. I encourage others to make some little cards too!
ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions & Originals. ACEO's are miniature pieces of art measuring 2 1/5 x 3 1/2 inches, created using a variety of mediums. They are the same size as baseball trading cards and are a lot of fun to make and collect. You can frame them, put them in photo albums for coffee table books, use them as doll house art, add one in a greeting card to a friend etc..... Artists all over are making art cards and there is a ton of them to be found on Ebay. Just type in "ACEO" in the Ebay search box and you will see what I mean.
